A 1930’s house was totally modernized by removing the wall and chimney breast between the kitchen and dining room to allow space for a large island and create more light within the rooms. Worktop was 60mm thick including feature side panels all around the island that included a breakfast bar and seating on one side and hob and deep pan drawer storage on the other.
